Ministries
One of our mottos at RLC is: “every member a minister”. The word ministry means “service” and every Christian is called to serve. We offer many different ministries to serve those who come to our church. We also offer our members the opportunity to find their place of ministry in the Body of Christ, serving the Lord by serving others. God has a place for every Christian to get “plugged in” and we desire that every Christian find that place.
MUSIC/WORSHIP
Praise and worship is a very important aspect of every RLC worship service. The Bible teaches that God is enthroned on the praises of His people. Jesus is the King of all kings and each time we gather together to worship Him we celebrate His Lordship in our lives.
The goal of the Music Ministry at RLC is to minister to the Lord and to lead the congregation in praise and worship of Him through a combination of spiritual, musical, and technical excellence. The team is comprised of musicians, vocalists, sound technicians, and projectionists that are committed to serving the Lord and the congregation. We offer a contemporary music style accompanied by guitars, keyboard, bass, and drums. We encourage all members who are musically gifted or who have an interest in the technical side of music to pray about getting involved.
CHILDREN
REZ KIDZ REIGN FOREST CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
SUNDAYS at 10:00am - FULL CHILDREN’S MINISTRY (6 wks old through 6th Grade) is provided.
THE REZ KIDZ REIGN FOREST “Where God’s Love is Showered on All Children” is the Children’s Ministry at Resurrection Life Church, ministering to children from 6 wks old through 6th grade. Under the direction of Miss Lynn, our children have their very own church service in our wonderful REIGN FOREST facility! Upbeat music, relevant teaching and preaching, fun and games all add up to an exciting not-to-be-missed time for the kids!
QUEST YOUTH GROUP
(7th grade through High School) takes place on Sundays during the 10:00 am Service. Led by Pastor Jeremy & Becky Roberts, with wonderful, teen-loving Assistants, the youth at RLC interact with each other and learn valuable and practical lessons in God’s Word to arm them to stand strong in their faith!
LIFE CARE SERVICES
We have a number of groups who connect weekly in person live at the church as well as online to get the opportunity together to talk, laugh, enjoy praise and worship, share God’s Word and pray. To connect with out Life Care Leaders please visit the church’s calendar.
Hebrews 10:24 reminds us to consider one another, stir up love and good works and exhort on another.

JOURNEY OF RECOVERY
Our group’s mission is to develop and maintain an atmosphere in which Christians who struggle with addictions and compulsive behaviors can receive both biblical instruction and the emotional support they need to overcome their dependencies and obsessive habits. Members will be able to share openly without the fear of being judged in a place where they will feel safe due to the assurance of confidentiality and anonymity.
The Journey of Recovery is based on the truth of the power of God to heal us. The goal of this program is for people to work through the eight recovery principles found in Beatitudes and the Christ-centered 12 steps to achieve spiritual and emotional change and maturity.
OUTREACH
The heart of our ministry is the heart of Jesus…to reach out to people with a message of hope and love given freely to them by the same God Who has given freely to us! As the Lord directs, we at RLC are involved in many forms of outreach:
Reaching out through special events such as the “Back-to-School Blessing” (where school supplies are given out free of charge and food and ministry are provided to parents and their children).
Vacation Bible School, which ministers to the children of our community as well as their families
Special neighborhood Christmas outreaches
Most importantly, personal contacts and aid to those in need spiritually, emotionally or physically.
